OLD BONES RYE 15 YEAR RESERVE

Old Bones Rye 15 is an elegant whiskey that is equally perfect for celebrating special occasions and treating yourself at the end of the day. Distilled just outside of Montreal, this release has a mash bill with a higher percentage of corn than our usual rye mash bills. This gives the whiskey a unique sweetness that sets it apart from our other ryes. We rebarreled this whiskey in a new #3 char barrel for 15 months before bottling it to further develop the complexity of the flavor profile.

While the Old Bones Rye 15 Year Reserve label is used for rye that has been aged for at least 15 years, we do not bottle any whiskey until it meets our high standards of flavor and overall quality. Because of this, our first batch (#C1) was aged for 18 years and 6 months.

Tasting Notes: Crispy caramel corn on the nose. The front of the palate has a peppery spice that transitions to a gentle sweetness on the mid-palate. This sweetness lasts through the long and delightful finish.
